High quality axial capacitors rated at 400V. These MKT1813 capacitors are produced by Vishay Roederstein, formerly known as ERO. These capacitors are made with metalized polyester film and sealed in epoxy resin. Suggested applications include blocking, bypassing, filtering, timing, coupling and decoupling, interference suppression in low voltage applications. Features

The all new TAD-EL84-STR Redbase brings together the best of both - the famous EL84-Cz and the EL84M. We opted for the thickest glass possible and the heaviest construction available, just like the Russian EL84M, and combined these features with the sonically most promising cathode plate options, in order to meet and exceed the tonal quality of the EL84-Cz especially with regard to its linearity over the entire frequency range. Finally we added the gold grid wire in order to improve overall reliability. The sound can be described as very harmonic in the middle and treble frequencies, without adding too much power to the bass. The result is the best EL84 in current production. Note: Due to its diameter of 22.5mm, the TAD EL84-STR does not fit into older Marshall DSL401 made till week #20 in 2014 and the UK made VOX AC15 TBX amplifiers from the same time period.

NTE123 NPN silicon transistors. The NTE123 is a popular NPN for fuzz pedals and other effects. This transistor is in a TO-5 package. The NTE123 was used in the Texas Square Face made by Cesar Diaz, the famous amp tech who worked with Stevie Ray Vaughan and others. Early in his career, SRV had a broken Fuzz Face pedal and took it to Cesar Diaz to have him fix it. Diaz fixed and modified the pedal and this became the foundation of his famous version which he named the Texas Square Face. The Diaz pedals often came socketed and included a set of NTE123 along with the standard pair of P-QNTE103 to experiment with the different sounds of the transistors.

NTE103 NPN germanium transistors. The NTE103 is a popular NPN for fuzz pedals and other effects. This transistor is in a TO-5 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors. The NTE103 was used in the Texas Square Face made by Cesar Diaz, the famous amp tech who worked with Stevie Ray Vaughan and others. This transistor is in a metal SO-2 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors. This package with the gold leads visually matches the 2G308, 2G309, and 2G381 transistors found in Zonk and Tonebender MKI fuzz pedals.

SFT319 PNP germanium transistors. The SFT319 is a popular PNP for fuzz pedals and other effects. This transistor is in a 18B4 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors. This style of package can be found in Italian built Vox Tonebenders.

OC83N PNP germanium transistors. The OC83N is a great PNP for fuzz pedals and boost effects. It is the TO-1 version of the OC83 which can be found in many fuzz pedals such as MK1.5 and MKII Tonebender clones. This transistor features long leads commonly found on germanium transistors.
