This PCB is a recreation of the iss. 2 circuit board found in classic Fuzz Face pedals. The iss. 2 version uses NPN silicon transistors. When drawing the layout, multiple originals were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces are tinned providing protection from corrosion and making soldering easier. Tonebender MkI “Goldie” style circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of a perfboard layout found in a surviving Tonebender MkI built into a gold sandcast case more commonly used for the Tonebender Mk1.5 and MkII. The mounting holes are spaced to fit our fuzz mounting bracket S-HMB-JEN.

Perfboard / padboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This perfboard features a 0.1” modern spacing. The board has 60 x 30 holes with squared copper pads on one side of the board. The copper is surface-treated, making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensuring a long shelf life.

This board is for a CMOS fuzz topology popularized by Craig Anderton’s Tube Sound Fuzz from the mid-70s. The board uses a new design with old-school traces on phenolic substrate for an era-appropriate look. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. The circuit is based around a CD4049 CMOS hex inverter and was also the basis for other fuzz designs, including the Way Huge Red Llama. The board fits in a 1590BB and works well with our pre-drilled layout P-H1590BBBK-PD2. A layout can be found in our Documents section below. Recommended parts using Vishay PR02 resistors can be found in the below table.

Triangle Big Muff style circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the distinct diagonal-pattern perfboard used in the earliest Triangle Big Muff units. This style of board was sold as a general-purpose prototyping board in that era, and can accommodate a variety of vintage-style builds.

3PDT switch mounted charge pump PCB for +18V effects. This small PCB simplifies the wiring of 3PDT foot switches in guitar pedals while also offering +18V when used with a standard +9V power supply. This is a great option for +18V effects such as vintage delays and modern boosts and distortions. The circuit of this PCB also features a protection diode and an LED indicator for when the effect is engaged. This board is compatible with the MAX1044, TC1044S, TC7660S, and LT1054 charge pump ICs.

3PDT switch mounted charge pump PCB for effects requiring both +9V and -9V. This small PCB simplifies the wiring of 3PDT foot switches in guitar pedals while also offering ±9V when used with a standard +9V power supply. This is a great option for bipolar power supply effects such as vintage delay and modulation pedals as well as synth effects. The circuit of this PCB also features a protection diode and an LED indicator for when the effect is engaged. This board is compatible with the MAX1044, TC1044S, TC7660S, and LT1054 charge pump ICs.

PCB mount terminal pin made of tinned brass. This pin fits 0.064” mounting holes and can be swage or solder mounted. The pin diameter is 0.05” and has a total length of 0.25” when mounted. Great for connecting offboard wiring by soldering directly to the pin or using an appropriate connector.

MKII fuzz circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in Tone Bender Professional MKII pedals. When drawing the layout, an original board was closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. Since the MKII boards were cut from stripboard, this board follows the same format but is completely ready for soldering with precut traces and drilled mounting holes. The build style is very straightforward on the Mk2. It is a standard stripboard build and follows a very linear circuit path across the board.The copper traces have a surface treatment providing protection from corrosion. FZ-1 fuzz circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in Maestro FZ-1 pedals. The board is styled after the original version that can also be found in early serial Maestro FZ-1A pedals. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. This board is intended for use with S-HEYE-A eyelets (sold separately). The build style is very straightforward with point to point connections. Eyelet-Rite fuzz circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in the germanium Mosrite Fuzzrite pedals. The board is styled after the point to point version that used eyelets. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. This board is intended for use with S-HEYE-A eyelets and is directly mounted to a Carling P-H550 footswitch (both sold separately). The original build also used a unique C350K pot and the R-VOMSL-350KRA is the perfect substitute. The build style is very straightforward with point to point connections. Our 3PDT PCB daughterboard is a small board designed to simplify the wiring of 3PDT footswitches in guitar pedals. All inputs and outputs are clearly labeled on the PCB, removing any confusion about how the footswitch should be wired, and decreasing the chances of wiring mistakes or short-circuits.

Shatterbox style circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in the Shatterbox pedal. The board is styled after the later version with a printed circuit rather than a stripboard construction. This is the same board that was used in the “split board” version which can be built by cutting the board down the middle to separate the fuzz section from the treble booster section. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces have a surface treatment providing protection from corrosion. This board includes a blank mounting PCB. This PCB sits directly beneath the main board to mount it directly to the enclosure using screws.

This is a great option for positive ground effects such as vintage fuzz pedals. The PCB has a low profile design and is a simple addition to any build using a standoff to mount the board. The board is styled after the early version that featured a printed circuit rather than a stripboard construction. This board is a recreation of the MKI circuit board found in early Tone Bender pedals. When drawing the layout, an original board was closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. Since the MKI boards were hand drilled, the holes have an organic layout that was somewhat unique to each build. This board follows the exact hole pattern of one of these original builds. The build style is also fairly unique in the MK1. It is a point to point style board without eyelets or turrets. The leads of the parts are wrapped upward around the edge of the board and then solder is applied to connect the components. Black stripboard featuring a 0.15” vintage spacing. This spacing is great for vintage-style builds and more easily accommodates axial capacitors and other larger sized vintage parts like resistors and transistors. The board has 40 x 20 holes (20 strips). Each strip is HASL coated making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensures a long shelf life. Features:

Flat-washer style solder tag for use with M3.5 or #6 screws. This small solder tag is an easy way to add a wire such as a chassis ground connection to a build. This solder tag is also a great match for vintage style builds such as Fuzz Face style effects pedals.

The board is styled after the non-reverse version that can also be found in the Park Fuzz Sound, Rotosound Fuzz, and the MKIV Tone Bender. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces have a surface treatment providing protection from corrosion. This board uses a unique PCB mount potentiometer R-VOMUP-100KL. A matching enclosure P-HROTO-1 can be used with the board to complete a vintage style fuzz build. V828 Italian fuzz circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in the V828 Vox Tone Bender pedals. The board is styled after the Italian made version which was also sold as the Jen Fuzz. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces have a surface treatment providing protection from corrosion. This board uses unique PCB mounted tags for the offboard wiring. A combination of S-HEYE-A eyelets and S-H137 solder tags (each sold separately) can be used to approximate the originals.
