High-quality 10kΩ 3386P trimpots with a knob. These 3386P style of single-turn cermet trimmers can be found in countless guitar pedals and synthesizer modules. Sealed trimmers are built with an o-ring seal to prevent entrance of moisture and serve as a mechanical restraint to prevent unwanted wiper movement. ±10% tolerance. The top knob is useful for pedals and other builds where internal settings such as transistor bias can be adjusted to taste affecting the overall tone or functionality of the effect. The addition of the knob allows for fine adjustments to be made by hand.

Phenolic skirted knobs with a set screw and brass insert. These unique knobs closely match the rectangular RCA style of knobs used on vintage test equipment, radios, studio consoles and other military and aerospace equipment. The rectangular RCA style knobs feature an inlay indicator line. Fits ¼” (6.35mm) pot shafts. 27mm Skirt:

This PCB is a recreation of the iss. 2 circuit board found in classic Fuzz Face pedals. The iss. 2 version uses NPN silicon transistors. When drawing the layout, multiple originals were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces are tinned providing protection from corrosion and making soldering easier. This classic board fits the mounting holes on both original and reproduction Fuzz Face enclosures. For a phenolic substrate version of this board, see P-PC-FUZZ-ISS2-BRN. NOS 1N60 germanium diodes from Zenith. 1N60 diodes were used in many vintage electronics and also make for great clipping diodes in stompbox effects pedals. These Japanese made diodes are also known as 1N60 403-1.

Solder terminals, make switched sleeve. Metal ferrule, vintage style found in many amplifiers and pedals. The make switched sleeve connects and disconnects the battery in many vintage fuzz pedals such as the Fuzz Face, Buzzaround, Zonk II (Si), and Shatterbox. This board is for a CMOS fuzz topology popularized by Craig Anderton’s Tube Sound Fuzz from the mid-70s. The board uses a new design with old-school traces on phenolic substrate for an era-appropriate look. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. The circuit is based around a CD4049 CMOS hex inverter and was also the basis for other fuzz designs, including the Way Huge Red Llama. The board fits in a 1590BB and works well with our pre-drilled layout P-H1590BBBK-PD2. A layout can be found in our Documents section below. Recommended parts using Vishay PR02 resistors can be found in the below table.

Triangle Big Muff style circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the distinct diagonal-pattern perfboard used in the earliest Triangle Big Muff units. This style of board was sold as a general-purpose prototyping board in that era, and can accommodate a variety of vintage-style builds.

Tonebender MkI “Goldie” style circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of a perfboard layout found in a surviving Tonebender MkI built into a gold sandcast case more commonly used for the Tonebender Mk1.5 and MkII. The mounting holes are spaced to fit our fuzz mounting bracket S-HMB-JEN.

Perfboard / padboard made with a phenolic substrate. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This perfboard features a 0.1” modern spacing. The board has 60 x 30 holes with squared copper pads on one side of the board. The copper is surface-treated, making soldering easier than most protoboards and also ensuring a long shelf life.

NOS OA74A germanium diodes from Amperex. OA74A diodes were used in many vintage electronics and also make for great clipping diodes in stompbox effects pedals. The red end is the cathode. OA74A is a near-exact replacement for OA81.

PCB and parts kit for the V828 fuzz pedal. This is based on the classic Italian-made V828 Tone Bender. These were also sold under the Jen brand. This kit includes all of the resistors, capacitors, and solder tags used on the included circuit board. The germanium PNP transistors are not included such that customers can select and test their own.

Single standard snap-on 9V battery clip. Features six inch pre-stripped and pre-tinned leads for an easy connection.

Phenolic PCBs with similar styling to the eyelet/fiberboard used in vintage equipment. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the MKI circuit board found in early Tone Bender pedals. When drawing the layout, an original board was closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. Since the MKI boards were hand drilled, the holes have an organic layout that was somewhat unique to each build. This board follows the exact hole pattern of one of these original builds. The build style is also fairly unique in the MK1. It is a point to point style board without eyelets or turrets. The leads of the parts are wrapped upward around the edge of the board and then solder is applied to connect the components. New old stock radial capacitors from Philips with 10mm lead spacing. The KT-347 series capacitors feature the same lacquer coating as the Mullard / Philips mustard caps found in classic Marshall amps and many vintage pedals. These NOS caps feature a low-inductive wound cell of metal foil and a polyethylene terephthalate film.

MKIII & MKIV fuzz circuit board made with a phenolic substrate for an even closer match to the vintage production boards. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the circuit board found in Vox Tone Bender MKIII pedals. The board is styled after the non-reverse version that can also be found in the Park Fuzz Sound, Rotosound Fuzz, and the MKIV Tone Bender. When drawing the layout, original boards were closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. The copper traces have a surface treatment providing protection from corrosion. This board uses a unique PCB mount potentiometer R-VOMUP-100KL. A matching enclosure P-HROTO-1 can be used with the board to complete a vintage style fuzz build. This nickel-plated steel adapter sleeve converts a 4mm shaft potentiometer to 6mm shaft, allowing for 6mm knobs to be used on a wider range of potentiometers. An additional 6mm to 6.35mm adapter R-VADAPT-25 can then be used to fit 1/4” knobs (sold seperately).

Parts Kit - Eyelet-Rite Fuzz Pedal, Germanium Version, Premium Build PCB and parts kit for the Eyelet-Rite fuzz pedal. This is based on the point to point version of the germanium Mosrite Fuzzrite pedal. This kit includes all of the resistors, capacitors, eyelets, and the footswitch used on the included circuit board. High quality 22AWG wire from Weico featuring a topcoat of solder over the strands. This wire is pre-tinned in the sense that a coating of solder is already applied, bonding the individual strands together so no additional tinning is required.
