CD4094B is an 8-stage serial shift register having a storage latch associated with each stage for strobing data from the serial input to parallel buffered 3-state outputs. The parallel outputs may be connected directly to common bus lines. Data is shifted on positive clock transitions. The data in each shift register stage is transferred to the storage register when the STROBE input is high. Data in the storage register appears at the outputs whenever the OUTPUT-ENABLE signal is high. Two serial outputs are available for cascading a number of CD4094B devices. Data is available at the QS serial output terminal on positive clock edges to allow for high-speed operation in cascaded systems in which the clock rise time is fast.

The Switchcraft Type 112BX enclosed ¼” jack is a high quality jack. This jack has three solder lugs. One for the tip, one for the ring, and one for the sleeve. These jacks have been widely used across the industry and can also be found in many popular 5U synthesizers. Includes nut and washer.

Miniature Alpha pot for guitars. Audio taper.

The 2N2907 is a silicon planar epitaxial PNP transistor in a TO-18 metal case type. The 2N2907 is designed for use in high speed saturated switching and general purpose applications.

Dual wide-bandwidth LF353 opamps in an 8-pin DIP package. The LF353 offers a high input impedance and 3MHz bandwidth.
This LF353 device is a low-cost, high-speed, JFET input operational amplifier with very low input offset voltage. It requires low supply current yet maintains a large gain-bandwidth product and a fast slew rate. In addition, the matched high-voltage JFET input provides very low input bias and offset currents.

SFT353 PNP germanium transistors. The SFT353 is a popular PNP for fuzz pedals and other effects. This transistor is in a 18B4 package with long leads commonly found on germanium transistors. This style of package can be found in Italian built Vox Tonebenders.

The CD4040B is a 12-stage ripple-carry binary counter. All counter stages are master-slave flip-flops. The state of a counter advances one count on the negative transition of each input pulse; a high level on the RESET line resets the counter to its all zeros state. Schmitt trigger action on the input-pulse line permits unlimited rise and fall times.

The AS3080ED is Alfa’s version of the CA3080 IC in an SOIC package. The AS3080ED is a gain block which is the operational-transconductance-amplifier (OTA). The AS3080ED has differential input and a single-ended, push-pull, class A output. Amplifier bias input may be used either for gating or for linear gain control. High output impedance and transconductance (gM) is directly proportional to the amplifier bias current (IABC). Linearizing diodes are provided at the inputs to reduce distortion and allow higher input levels. The result is a 10-dB signal-to-noise improvement referenced to 0.5 percent THD.
The AS3080ED is notable for it’s high slew rate (50V/µs), which makes it especially useful for multiplexer and fast unity-gain voltage followers.

OP07 precision op amp in an 8-pin DIP package.These devices offer low offset and long-term stability by means of a low-noise, chopperless, bipolar-input-transistor amplifier circuit. For most applications, external components are not required for offset nulling and frequency compensation. The true differential input, with a wide input-voltage range and outstanding common-mode rejection, provides maximum flexibility and performance in high-noise environments and in noninverting applications. Low bias currents and extremely high input impedance are maintained over the entire temperature range.

Linear taper, vertical mount, Alpha pots with a 6.35mm shaft diameter featuring 11 detents across the rotation. The 11 detent versions are useful for builds where 1-10 settings are commonly used or if the pot is used as a rotary switch along with a microcontroller. LM318 single op amp in an 8-pin DIP package. The LM318 is a precision, fast operational amplifier designed for applications requiring wide bandwidth and high slew rate. They feature a factor-of-ten increase in speed over general-purpose devices without sacrificing dc performance. These operational amplifiers have internal unity-gain frequency compensation. This considerably simplifies their application because no external components are necessary for operation. However, unlike most internally compensated amplifiers, external frequency compensation may be added for optimum performance. For inverting applications, feed-forward compensation boosts the slew rate to over 150 V/µs and almost double the bandwidth. Overcompensation can be used with the amplifier for greater stability when maximum bandwidth is not needed. Further, a single capacitor can be added to reduce the settling time for 0.1% error band to under 1 µs.

1N4748A 22V zener diode in a DO-41 package. A semiconductor device that, above a certain reverse voltage(the zener value) has a sudden rise in current. If forward biased, the diode is an ordinary rectifier. When reverse biased, it exhibits a sharp break in its current-voltage graph. Voltage across the diode remains essentially constant for any further increase of reverse current.
