Pre-drilled vintage style pedal enclosure by Mod® Electronics. The shape of this folded steel enclosure is inspired by the original Burns Buzzaround enclosures and is pre-drilled to match the original layout of the Buzzaround pedal. The hammered dark gray powder coat provides a close match for the original appearance but will hold up much better than the paint found on the vintage pedals.

Vintage style Switchcraft instrument cables that match the original case candy cables sold with 1960s Fender® and Gibson guitars. Large rubber grommet for mounting footswitches on FZ-1 and FZ-1A style builds. Requires a 0.812” (20.6mm) mounting hole. This grommet’s 0.5” (12.7mm) inner diameter fits most common footswitches. These are great for replacing originals, replica builds of these Maestro pedals or for general sound damping on footswitches.

Large black plastic control knob with set screw and brass insert. The two different options include one version with a black plastic top and another version with a radial-brushed metal cap with a chamfered edge, each sold separately. The grip has a smooth straight knurl and the skirt features an arrow indicator. Fits ¼” (6.35mm) pot shafts.

NOS OA74A germanium diodes from Amperex. OA74A diodes were used in many vintage electronics and also make for great clipping diodes in stompbox effects pedals. The red end is the cathode. OA74A is a near-exact replacement for OA81.

PCB and parts kit for the V828 fuzz pedal. This is based on the classic Italian-made V828 Tone Bender. These were also sold under the Jen brand. This kit includes all of the resistors, capacitors, and solder tags used on the included circuit board. The germanium PNP transistors are not included such that customers can select and test their own.

Phenolic PCBs with similar styling to the eyelet/fiberboard used in vintage equipment. Phenolic boards are found in many vintage electronics before the use of fiberglass became common. This board is a recreation of the MKI circuit board found in early Tone Bender pedals. When drawing the layout, an original board was closely referenced to ensure a proper match and fit. Since the MKI boards were hand drilled, the holes have an organic layout that was somewhat unique to each build. This board follows the exact hole pattern of one of these original builds. The build style is also fairly unique in the MK1. It is a point to point style board without eyelets or turrets. The leads of the parts are wrapped upward around the edge of the board and then solder is applied to connect the components.
